Todd Wetmore and Ilija Mitrev Penushliski will speak at Vilnius Arbitration Day 2024, organized by the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration.

Todd will speak on the panel, “States and State Entities in International Arbitration”, alongside Barton Legum (Honlet Legum), Dr. Crina Baltag (Stockholm University), and Markus Burgstaller (Hogan Lovells). The session will be moderated by Dr. Eglė Zemlytė (Miliauskas, Zemlytė ir Lauraitytė).

Ilija will speak at the session on “Investor‘s Liability under International Public and Investment Law: Mission (im)Possible?”, alongside Professor Dr. Nikos Lavranos, LL.M. (European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration), Professor Dr. Jan Kleinheisterkamp (London School of Economics), and Dr. Wojciech Sadowski (Queritius). Professor Dr. Solveiga Vilčinskaitė, MCIArb (TGS  Baltic) will moderate the discussion.

The conference will be held on Friday 13 September at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius, and Ilija’s and Todd’s panels will take place from 11:55 am to 12:55 pm.
