Antonia is an international associate in the Washington, DC office. She specializes in international commercial arbitration and has significant experience representing multinational corporations in cross-border disputes ranging across various industries, including construction, oil & gas, finance, transportation, entertainment, and food & beverages. Antonia has acted in proceedings under a number of arbitration rules, including ICC, AAA-ICDR, and CAM-CCBC.

Before joining Three Crowns, Antonia practiced in Brazil and acted as counsel in domestic and international arbitral proceedings, as well as judicial and administrative proceedings, having appeared before federal and state courts and federal administrative bodies, such as the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Brazilian Central Bank (Bacen), and the Council for Financial Activities Control (Coaf). In 2023, Antonia was recognized as a “Rising Star” in Arbitration in Brazil by The Legal 500: Dispute Resolution guide.

Antonia holds an LL.M. (Hons.) from Columbia Law School, where her focus was on international commercial and investment arbitration. During her time at Columbia, she was a research assistant to Professors George A. Bermann and Kabir Duggal and held positions in the Columbia International Arbitration Association, and the Columbia Law School Brazilian Association. She also holds an LL.B. from Fundação Getulio Vargas Rio de Janeiro Law School and is concluding her LL.M. in Commercial Law at the University of Sao Paulo.

  • Advising a multinational company in designing and implementing a tailor-made dispute resolution system to provide compensation for claims related to the mass evacuation of tens of thousands of people from large urban areas in Brazil
