Scott Vesel and Katherine Shen author article on the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on commercial disputes for Corporate Disputes Magazine

Scott Vesel and Katherine Shen recently co-authored an article, “The Impact of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine on Commercial Disputes”, with Pavlo Byelousov of Aequo, for Corporate Disputes Magazine.

The article considers contractual disputes that are likely to arise as a consequence of sanctions and countersanctions and foreign companies’ decisions to exit the Russian market. It also addresses the types of investment disputes that may be brought against Russia under bilateral investment treaties and the possibility of Russian investors bringing investment disputes against Ukraine.
