Jacob Omorodion appointed as External Co-Director of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association’s International Arbitration Workshop

Jacob Omorodion has been appointed as External Co-Director of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association’s (HIALSA) International Arbitration Workshop.

The HIALSA Workshop, which was founded in 2017, welcomes highly regarded practitioners and arbitrators from around the world to offer practical guidance on key elements of arbitral disputes to students of Harvard Law School. The Workshop adds to the Law School’s renowned traditions in advocacy and international law, complementing its growing course and seminar offerings in international arbitration and public international law.

Jacob joins Co-Founder Hugh Carlson in this role, along with Internal Co-Directors Maryan Hassan, Yixian Sun, and Rosalind Liang, for the 2021-2022 academic year. The Workshop’s Co-Founder Luke Sobota has passed the role to Jacob after serving four years on the leadership team.

ABOUT JACOB OMORODION

Jacob is an associate in the Washington, DC office. Jacob holds a JD from Harvard Law School, where he was a Class Marshal of his graduating class and President of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association. He also holds an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford and a First Class Honours BA in Political Science from McGill University.
