Daryl Chew will speak at the SIAC Symposium and the UNCITRAL Academy 2024, co-organised by the Ministry of Law, Singapore and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), as part of Singapore Convention Week 2024.
At the Symposium, Daryl will moderate the panel on “Technology in Arbitration – Knowledge to Implementation to Integration”, addressing current applications of legal technology and AI in arbitration scenarios, and the associated opportunities and risks.
At the UNCITRAL Academy, Daryl will participate in a debate delving into the depths of gender dynamics in dispute resolution, where the panellists will challenge perceptions on the intersection of gender and negotiation. At the end of the debate, the audience will cast their vote to decide the winning team.
The Symposium panel will take place in person on Monday 26 August 2024 from 3:15pm to 4:30pm SGT, and the Academy debate on Tuesday 27 August 2024 from 4:10pm to 5:30pm SGT at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
