Agustin G. Sanz will speak at the V Congress of National and International Arbitration: An Arbitration Center for the Americas, hosted by the Arbitration and Conciliation Center, Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
Agustin will appear on the panel, “La otra cara del arbitraje de inversión en Latinoamérica: de receptores a emisores de inversión extranjera” (“The other side of investment arbitration in Latin America: from recipients to foreign investment issuers”), in which panellists will address new trends in ISDS in the region, including the emergence of intra-region and extra-region disputes involving major Latin American players.
The event, which will be hosted over three days, will involve discussions on a range of industries including infrastructure, energy, and fashion, and will reflect on the practice of arbitration in Latin America.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Zuana in Santa Marta, Colombia, from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 October.
