Agustin G. Sanz will speak at the 5th ICC Ecuador ADR Week on a panel titled, “Overcoming Recent Challenges in International Arbitration” in Quito, Ecuador. The panel will take place on Thursday, 24 April 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 at Hotel JW Marriott.
Agustin’s section will discuss “arbitration in climate disputes: conflicts between sovereignty and global standards, and the influence of geopolitics in transnational arbitration”.
Agustin will speak alongside Juan Manuel Marchán, Oswaldo Santos, and Mauricio Raffo. María de Lourdes Maldonado will be moderating this panel.

ABOUT AGUSTIN G. SANZ
Agustin is a partner in the Madrid office. He has been trained in the civil law and common law traditions and has extensive experience of both international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He has experience under all of the major arbitral institutions, and ad hoc, across several jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Latin America, covering a broad range of sectors including infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, public contracts, and regulated industries.
