Shaparak Saleh to speak at IBA Young Lawyer Training Course: The Fundamentals of International Legal Practice

Shaparak Saleh will speak at a panel on “Career Development – how to succeed in a changing world”, as part of the IBA Young Lawyer Training Course: The Fundamentals of International Legal Practice.

In this session, expert practitioners will share valuable insights into developing a successful career in international arbitration, from their unique perspectives as counsel, arbitrators, and institutions. Panellists will discuss the impact of continuous training on elevating your legal practice and explore best practices for legal entrepreneurship.

Shaparak will speak alongside Fatima Balfaqeeh (Independent Arbitrator), Kristin Campbell-Wilson (Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre), Soraya Corm-Bakhos (Independent Arbitrator), and Ahmed Ibrahim (Independent Arbitrator, IbrahimAdr), with Hasan Mandviwalla (Mandviwalla & Zafar) moderating the session.

The day-long course is presented by the IBA Young Lawyers’ Committee and supported by the IBA Arab Regional Forum, the Arb40 Subcommittee of the IBA Arbitration Committee, and NYU Abu Dhabi.

The event will take place on Wednesday 16 April at the ADGM Dispute Resolution Hearing Centre, Abu Dhabi.
