For the fourth consecutive year, Three Crowns has been recognised by The Times in its Best Law Firms report for 2025, an annual list of the top 250 law firms in England and Wales. The rankings are based on peer reviews from across the legal industry. Only 250 of the 9,425 firms in England and Wales have been named in the report, and only firms with the most votes from over 4,000 respondents have been included.
Recognised in the commercial dispute resolution category, The Times cited significant matters worked on by Three Crowns, including securing an award for Elliott Associates against the Republic of Korea, and representing the North Caspian Operating Company, whose members include Exxon Mobil, Eni, Shell, Total and KazMunayGas, in an ongoing dispute against the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Central Asian State is claiming more than £115 billon in damages, making this one of the largest arbitrations by value in history.
