Scott Vesel to speak on a panel “Hot Topics in International Investment Treaty Arbitration”

Scott Vesel will speak on a panel “Hot Topics in International Investment Treaty Arbitration”. The panel hosted by The Georgetown International Arbitration Society will explore the tension between a State’s Right to Regulate and Foreign Investor’s Rights.

Scott will speak alongside Kristen Young (Boies Schiller Flexner LLP), Pablo Nilo Donoso (Foley Hoag LLP). The event will feature closing remarks by Georgetown University Law Center’s Professor Anne Marie Whitesell, with GIAS Vice President Laura Lamo Blanco as the moderator.

This panel will take place tomorrow, Thursday 14 November at 6:00 pm in Hotung 2001, Georgetown University Law Center. A cocktail reception will follow.

ABOUT SCOTT VESEL

Scott, a partner in the Washington, DC office, has a decade and a half of experience handling complex international investment and commercial arbitrations in the oil and gas, construction, energy, mining, gaming, defence, technology, and agribusiness sectors.
