Maanas Jain has been appointed as a member of the Programme Committee for the ICCA 2024 Congress in Hong Kong, hosted by the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA). The Congress will be held from Sunday 5 May to Wednesday 8 May 2024.
For more than 60 years, the annual ICCA Congress has provided members of the international arbitration community from across the world with a forum for discussion and debate, to drive innovation and development within the field.
With the theme of “International Arbitration: A Human Endeavour”, the 2024 Congress will explore the impact of human nature and behaviour on international arbitration and, conversely, the impact of arbitration on individual participants. The Congress will include topics such as: the economics of dispute resolution; culture and semantics; the art of persuasion; ethics and civility; diversity and inclusion; the impact of technology; and training and capacity building. Delegates will hear from scholars, social scientists, futurologists and leading practitioners.
In the coming months, Maanas will work together with the Programme Committee to identify panel topics and coordinate speakers for the event.
