Reza Mohtashami QC will speak about the application of the BCDR Arbitration Rules in practice from a practitioner’s perspective as part of a breakfast meeting in Dubai organised by the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BDCR) on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
In particular, Reza will discuss Articles 21 and 18 of the BCDR Rules, exploring the rules on party representation and the sanctions available to tribunals in this regard, as well as the practice and procedure for summary determination of issues under the Rules.
The event will also explore issues relating to online filings and tools in BCDR arbitrations, sports arbitration, and the choice of Bahrain as an arbitration jurisdiction.
