Three Crowns maintains leading rankings in The Legal 500 US 2021

Three Crowns maintained a leading ranking for International Arbitration in The Legal 500 US 2021 edition. Partners Luke Sobota and Liz Snodgrass have been recognised individually. Luke is once again distinguished as a “Leading Individual” in International Arbitration. One client noted to The Legal 500 that Luke is “a highly intelligent, confident, hardworking and experienced lawyer in the field of international arbitration.” Liz is recognised as a “Next Generation Partner” in International Arbitration for the first time. The Legal 500 describes her as “the real deal at the elite level of intellectual analysis and experience”.

The publication also featured counsel Agustin G. Sanz and Simon Consedine as recommended lawyers again this year, and has listed senior associate Nicola Peart and associate Kimberly Larkin for the first time, all of whom are based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Luke, a founding partner of Three Crowns and managing partner of the firm’s Washington, DC office, represents private and sovereign clients in some of their most significant commercial, investor-State, and inter-State arbitrations. His practice spans the technology, energy, and financial sectors and includes successfully prosecuting one of the largest ICC cases in history.

LIZ SNODGRASS

Liz, a partner in the Washington, DC office, has more than two decades of experience as an advocate and counsellor in international arbitration matters. Her practice is a mix of commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Liz has particular expertise in handling disputes involving States and State entities. Her clients span a wide variety of sectors, with a focus on upstream energy, power, mining, aerospace, and telecoms.

Agustín, counsel in the Washington, DC office, has extensive experience of both international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations involving disputes in a broad range of sectors, including infrastructure and highway concession agreements, oil and gas, energy, water treatment, technology, public works, sovereign debt, and agribusiness.
