About Luke Sobota
Luke is a founding partner of Three Crowns and is based in its Washington, DC office. He represents private and sovereign clients in some of their most significant commercial, investor-state, and inter-state arbitrations. Luke is also a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where he teaches in international arbitration.
Luke is recognized in leading directories and rankings, such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and Who’s Who Legal. He clerked for the late Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, William H. Rehnquist, and worked in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice.
Luke regularly writes and speaks about issues of international law and arbitration. He co-authored the second edition of International Arbitration: Three Salient Principles along with former International Court of Justice (ICJ) President Stephen Schwebel and Three Crowns colleague Ryan Manton. In addition, Luke co-authored General Principles of Law and International Due Process with Charles T. Kotuby.
