Three Crowns associates Amelia Keene and Nicola Peart were part of the team that was a joint winner of the Stockholm Treaty Lab, an international innovation contest sponsored by the Arbitration Institute of the SCC. Members of the team have been invited to present the team’s proposal at events around the world.
Most recently, Amelia represented the team at a seminar in Stockholm titled “A low carbon society through international law” where she presented the team’s idea of a Green Investment Protocol that would offer additional incentives and protections for “green investors” so as to promote the level of investment in new technologies that will be needed to meet the aims of the Paris Agreement.
The seminar, held on 16 May 2019, was jointly organized by the SCC and the Haga Institute to celebrate the prize winners of the Stockholm Treaty Lab, and was attended by lawyers, and representatives of businesses and Government, including the Swedish Climate Ambassador Lars Ronnås.
