Ai Lin, an associate in our Singapore office, provides advice and representation in international commercial arbitrations involving a range of applicable laws and conducted under various institutional rules. She has experience in the oil and gas, construction, joint venture, and public infrastructure sectors.
Ai Lin acted as Young Independent Counsel (amicus curiae) before the Singapore courts in the cases of Vijay Kumar v Public Prosecutor [2023] SGHC 109 and Lee Shin Nan v Public Prosecutor [2023] SGHC 354, where she assisted the courts with novel issues arising under the Payment Services Act and Penal Code. She was commended by the court for providing “diligent, thoughtful and well-researched submissions” and “illuminating and insightful perspectives”.
Ai Lin graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Bristol, where she obtained top marks for international arbitration and advanced tort. She is admitted and qualified to practice in Singapore and in England and Wales.
